Which zodiac sign is December?

The December zodiac sign is Sagittarius for birthdays through the 21st and Capricorn from about the 22nd. The handover happens at the winter solstice, on December 21 or 22 depending on the year and where you were born.

So December is the month where the Sun’s year bottoms out and starts climbing again. Capricorn, the sign that begins here, starts on the shortest day.

The darkest days, the brightest lights
